We jump into the story of Jesus after He has raised from the dead. During the 40 days between when Jesus rose from the dead and ascended to heaven, Jesus met with His followers to show Him that He was alive. Spend time talking with your family as to what it would be like to have been a follower of Jesus during this time. Talk about the range of emotions that you would have felt as you watched Jesus die on the cross, then heard that He was alive, spent time with Him, and then watched Him rise up to heaven. Would you have been sad that He was leaving again or would you have been excited because He told you that there was a gift coming.
