Belong Brunch gives you a first taste of what community looks like at GrowPoint. It’s a relaxed, welcoming gathering for anyone new who is wondering, “Is this a place I can belong?”
The heart of Belong Brunch is to help you take a first step toward connection and experience what it means to be part of a community that cares. Over a shared breakfast, we’ll get to know one another, hear each other’s stories, and create space for conversation and belonging.
You don’t need to have it all figured out — just come as you are. We’re excited to meet you and save you a seat at the table.

Belong is GrowPoint’s pathway for anyone asking, “Can I really belong here?” It’s designed to help you experience what it means to follow Jesus and be part of God’s family here at GrowPoint. Belong isn’t just one event—it’s a journey made up of three experiences:
You’ll be welcomed into a warm, relational space where conversation, presence, and connection are at the heart of the gathering. Here, you can meet others, hear stories from our community, and explore what it looks like to invite Jesus into your life. It’s all about getting a taste of something bigger and leaving curious for what’s next.
This is a space to experience life in community and see how doing life with others shapes your faith. You’ll explore why relationships matter, how connection and encouragement make a difference, and what living out faith together looks like at GrowPoint through GrowGroups, different ministries, and more. You’ll leave knowing how to jump in, get involved, and belong.
Belonging leads to action. At this gathering, you’ll discover how your gifts, passions, and story can serve others, impact our community, and partner with what God is doing in Lorain County. This session helps you see that belonging naturally flows into generosity, service, and sharing faith—and how you can take your first steps in getting involved.
Belong Brunch is for anyone who is new to GrowPoint or curious about faith. If you’re wondering, “Can I belong here?” this is the perfect place to find out. Come alone, with a friend, or with family, and enjoy a welcoming environment to meet others and hear stories from our community.
Just bring yourself! Brunch and drinks are on us. We do ask that you register online so we can plan for plenty of food and space for everyone.
The gathering lasts about 90 minutes. You’ll enjoy breakfast, meet other guests, and hear inspiring stories from our community. It’s a relaxed, low-pressure setting to explore what life at GrowPoint is like and what it means to follow Jesus.
Yes! Belong Brunch happens during our 11am service. Children through 5th grade can check in at GrowKids, where they’ll enjoy their own activities while you join the brunch. Students in 6th–12th grade are welcome to attend with you.
Belong Brunch takes place in the Gathering Room during our 11am service. Follow the banners and balloons to the check-in table, where our Brunch Bunch team will personally welcome you and show you to the space.
Nope! Belong Brunch is just a relaxed space to connect and get a feel for GrowPoint. Afterward, you’ll have the option to join Belong at the Table or Belong + Make a Difference, two gatherings designed to help you explore your next steps at GrowPoint.
