A foundational verse for our family is 1 Thessalonians 2:8, “We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you, not only the gospel of God, but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us.” Connecting to the body of Christ and sharing our lives with the community around us is our second value. God created us as relational beings and He did not intend for us to walk through life alone. We are genuinely refreshed by life-giving, authentic relationships with those He has placed in our lives. God has wired us to build relationships with those in the community.
