This week your kids made emoji sticks. They chose 3 emojis from a list of 12 that they commonly feel and attached them to a stick. Then using scriptures provided, they wrote the address of the verse on the stick. This week, review those emojis and the corresponding verses with your kids and pray with them using the scriptures on their sticks so that they develop the skills to turn to God’s word when they have big emotions that are hard to handle. If your kids were not there to make emoji sticks on, you can easily google “feeling emojis” and have them draw the faces. Use this scripture resource provided to add the corresponding verses to the emojis that they chose. PARENTS – this week’s video is from the Bible Project and though not necessarily kid-oriented it is a great resource to watch with your kids explaining the work of the Holy Spirit throughout creation including today.
